Ergodicity and Gaussian fluctuations for the stochastic wave equation
A talk in the SAUCY2020 series by David Nualart (University of Kansas)
We consider the stochastic wave equation in dimensions 1, 2 and 3 driven by a noise which is white in time and it has a Riesz covariance kernel in the space variable. We will discuss the spatial ergodicity of the solution and present quantitative central limit theorems for spatial averages in dimensions 1 an 2. These results are based on moment estimates of the derivative of the solution in the sense of Malliavin calculus.
