The Cauchy problem of the Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation
A talk in the Keine Reihe series by
Shinya Kinoshita
Abstract: |
In this talk, we consider the Cauchy problem of the Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation. The Zkharov-Kuznetsov equation can be seen as a multidimensional extension of the KdV equation. TheZakharov-Kuznetsov equation is not completely integrable but admits soliton solutions. I willintroduce the recent local and global well-posedness results. In high dimensions, the Cauchyproblem is shown to be globally well-posed for small initial data in scaling critical spaces and it isproved that solutions scatter to free solutions. The talk is based on a joint work with Sebastian Herr(Bielefeld).
This talk takes place within the retreat of the CRC 1283. All members of the CRC are invited to attend. Please contact ckoehler@math.uni-bielefeld.de for Zoom-Link, Meeting-ID and Password. |
