Noise in fluids is observed near boundaries. We formalize this idea and explain how this additive noise may
produce a transport noise on large scales. Transport noise is then shown to have important consequences on the
diffusion properties of passive quantities or viscosity properties of the fluid itself (but only in 2D). The results
are contained in a series of works in collaboration with Lucio Galeati, Dejun Luo and other researchers. |
