Hierarchical Schrödinger operator with the random potential
A talk in the Bielefeld Stochastic Afternoon series by
Stanislav Molchanov
Abstract: |
The talk will be based on the recent paper by A. Bendikov, A. Grigorian and S. Molchanov. First, I will introduce the simplest form of the hierarchical Laplacians and will describe some properties of the corresponding “stable processes”. Second, I will formulate several results on the spectral theory of random Hierarchical Hamiltonians and discuss the similarities and differences with the classical Anderson conjecture relates to random Schrödinger operator in $R^d$. Within the CRC this talk is associated to the project(s): A5 |
