Chromatin dynamics meets random matrices
A talk in the Seminar Zufallsmatrizen series by
S. S. Ashwin from IIIT, Hyderabad
| Abstract: |
In this talk, I will focus on the analysis of a specific class of
random matrices called randomly segmented tridiagonal quasi-
Toeplitz (rstq-T) matrices. These matrices exhibit a distinctive
structure and arise in various contexts in physics. I encountered
them during my study of chromatin dynamics in live cells, where
I modeled a Rouse polymer embedded in random phase-
separated liquid droplets.
