Nonuniqueness of Leray Solutions for 3D Stochastic Fractional Navier–Stokes Equations

A talk in the Bielefeld Stochastic Afternoon series by
Andre Schenke

Abstract: In this talk, we are going to investigate the question of nonuniqueness of Leray solutions to the fractional Navier-Stokes equations perturbed by transport noise. We will adapt convex integration methods of a recent work of Hofmanová, Lange and Pappalettera to construct infinitely many solutions to these equations. The talk aims to give an overview of the technique and the results suitable for non-experts.

Within the CRC this talk is associated to the project(s): B1
