Fluctuations in Kinetic Equations

| Abstract: | We present a recent well-posedness result for the Vlasov-Fokker-Planck-Dean-Kawasaki (VFPDK) equation with correlated noise. This stochastic kinetic equation arises as a fluctuating mean-field limit of second-order Newtonian particle systems, bridging classical kinetic theory and stochastic fluctuation effects. The model features nonlocal interactions together with a diffusion coefficient of square-root type, which introduces significant analytical difficulties. To overcome these issues, the analysis combines refined kinetic semigroup estimates with the framework of renormalized kinetic solutions. https://uni-bielefeld.zoom-x.de/j/64951709096?pwd=EfJynCkou8bBw77CsNYMuh88IrKazJ.1 Meeting-ID: 649 5170 9096 Passwort: 351532 Within the CRC this talk is associated to the project(s): A8 |
