Scale interactions in stochastic fluid models

A talk in the Bielefeld Stochastic Afternoon series by
Prince Romeo Mensah from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh

Abstract: In this talk, we take a look at the compressible Navier-Stokes equation driven by random forces. We gives some existence results and introduce the concept of a solution to such a system. We further explore its relationship - via rescaling arguments - with other fluid dynamics models like the randomly driven compressible Euler system as well as the randomly driven incompressible Navier-Stokes system
