The theory of regularity structures invented by Martin Hairer gives a robust framework for treating singular SPDEs. In this mini-course, we will present recent outbreaks in the treatment of these equations concerning the renormalisation. Having in mind the example of the generalised KPZ, we will explain how to derive the renormalised equation.
