Normal form and resonances in Hamiltonian PDEs
A talk in the Mathematisches Kolloquium (SFB 1283) series by
Erwan Faou from Rennes
Abstract: |
In this talk I will review some results in classical perturbation theory related to KAM theory and their applications to several domains such as symplectic integrators or partial differential equations. I will then discuss some recent results obtained with J. Bernier and B. Grébert concerning the analysis of the long time behavior of solutions to some Hamiltonian PDEs. I will also present some connected conjectures related to turbulence phenomena and existence of almost periodic solutions. |
