On the tempered measure of circles
A talk in the Micro-symposium on Substitution Dynamical Systems series by
Emily Korfanty from University of Alberta, Canada
| Abstract: |
The pinwheel tiling of the plane is an example of a substitution tiling with rotationally invariant diffraction; however, little else is known about its diffraction. Motivated by this, we will calculate/estimate the diffraction measure of a circle. The results will be presented in the framework of positive tempered measures. Within the CRC this talk is associated to the project(s): A6 |
