Financial Support

YWTS provides a flexible support program to support young women in building an academic career. Members of CRC 1283, TRR 358, and RTG 2865 „CUDE“ who identify as female can benefit from the following individual financial support:

• Accommodation for a child and an additional caretaker on a research trip.
• Additional conferences visits.
• Travel funds to "women-only" workshops and events with focus on equity topics.
• Soft skill trainings.

For female Master students in (theoretical) Mathematics, Physics, or Economics, individual financial support can include:

• Attending conferences in their respective fields at Bielefeld University.
• Travel funds to conferences that spark their interest outside Bielefeld University.
• Travel funds to "women-only" workshops and events with focus on equity topics.
• Soft skill trainings.

We are happy to help you apply to any of these individual fundings, or to one that is not listed above. Please note that an inclusion in the list above does not guarantee that we can grant such fundings; each request needs to be checked individually.
